Fate has gifted us a villa nestled in the Var hinterland—somewhere near the Plaine des Maures and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, and not far from the Verdon or the Mediterranean. Here, you will find rosé vineyards, olive groves, lavender fields, and the scent of figs, alongside “secret passages and hidden backroads [that] trace the memory of a France meant for walking—the network of a land that was once agrarian”*—yet also a mining region, featuring open-pit quarries and railway lines transformed into a delightful network of cycle paths.
These Provençal lands—a natural museum where the curious can discover traces left by the Romans, the Knights Templar, and Cistercian monks—form a reserved region that reveals its secrets only to those who embrace a slower pace of life.

We offer a four-bedroom villa that sleeps nine; its features have been carefully designed to ensure well-deserved rest among friends after a long day’s outing.
We propose a selection of excursions with the simple aim of introducing you to this Provençal world. Drawing on both your contributions and our own, this shared catalog of routes will grow alongside the community that forms around the villa.
Renting the villa grants you access to the full catalog of routes. We are also available to offer advice as you plan your trip. The house has also been available for rent on the Abritel website since 2015.
